SALITOS has taken over the largest existing indoor ice bar in the world. Cool with a capital letter, it can be found in the legendary Index nightclub in Schüttorf, Lower Saxony, where guests are catapulted straight to the bar on a bobsleigh.
Spanning 330 square metres with a ceiling height of six metres, SALITOS Ice Bar is the largest of its kind in the world. The entire interior is made of ice, from the solid walls to the bar and even the bobsleigh run, decorations and numerous sculptures. Over 300 tonnes of ice were used to create this unique place, which is kept below freezing at all times. The bar is open all year round during the club’s opening hours.

Index Schüttorf – Germany’s largest club on Dutch border
Index in Schüttorf has been one of the country’s most happening night clubs for over 30 years. To this day, the club is still run by the Bösch family led by Managing Director Holger Bösch. Spread over 5,000 square metres with a total of 27 bars, the club can hold up to 5,000 people and is the largest disco in Germany.
